The Design Charity

From my knowledge of landscape design and interactive media I have made contributions to The Design Charity as an Interactive and Responsive Environment Volunteer. My primary focus has been on creating spaces that inspire environmental awareness and ecological thinking in public sectors, particularly in London and other locations.

I play a pivotal role in all stages of the project process, starting from conceptualising ideas, developing prototypes, and overseeing final production and construction. One of our ongoing concept projects, known as Global Garden, exemplifies this focus. The objective of Global Garden is to establish learning landscapes throughout London, integrating digital and physical interactive experiences, while expanding green roofs and establishing educational spaces for educational and care facilities.

Additionally, I've been actively engaged in other notable projects, such as building a responsive garden for the well-being and recovery of patients at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. This garden is designed to be a sanctuary, offering a serene escape and promoting healing amidst the embrace of nature. It provides opportunities for meditation, play and gardening.

Another project I've contributed to is Arthur’s Garden, designed for Birmingham football club. This garden also serves as a sanctuary, designed to transport individuals from their everyday realities and offer healing experiences surrounded by the soothing presence of Mother Nature.

These projects highlight my dedication in creating impactful environments that foster environmental consciousness and well-being, combining my passion for art with a deep commitment to the betterment of public spaces.
